Go behind the scenes with Team Supertramp and Airborne Lens as they film the cows and castles of Scotland!
"As a massive fan of DevinSuperTramp's work, it was awesome to be able to get involved with one of their feature productions," says Airborne Lens drone pilot Liam Anderstrem. "These guys [Team Supertramp] do some crazy things, so I was a bit worried they would want to jump off the Glenfinnan Viaduct or something, but turns out this trip and their film was all about the stunning scenery of Scotland."
Team SuperTramp were in Scotland for a short five days, however, their tour of the country included seeing the sights at; Urquhart Castle, Dunnottar, Glencoe, Eilean Donan Castle, Rothiemurchus Estate, Glenfinnan Estate, Castle Stalker and the shores of Loch Ness.
The Airborne Lens team that supported the production coordinated all drone operations, liaising with landowners and local authorities to obtain flight permissions.
Team SuperTramp included Carter Hogan and Tyson Henderson. Although, there was some challenging weather conditions and some very early starts they (and their wives) left having thoroughly enjoyed their time in bonnie Scotland.
On the morning of the shoot at Urquhart Castle, the Airborne Lens crew also captured some Behind The Scenes 8K 360 Video using the Insta360 Pro. Airborne Lens has been a leader in the production of 360 Video content in Scotland for the last few years, and typically the crew always carry at least one 360 camera rig ready to chuck up anytime, anywhere!
DevinSuperTramp were shooting on the Red Helium with the Devin Graham Signature Series Glidecam. Airborne Lens were shooting with a pair of DJI Inspire 2 drones with the X5 and X7 gimbal.
